PURPOSE:To finely control the capacity of a compressor in simple ways by controlling the electric current of a pressure control valve according to a prescribed pattern according to the temperature etc. of an evaporator, thus eliminating the need of a complicate circuit as used in the duty ratio control. CONSTITUTION:A pressure control valve 18 controls the quantity of gas discharged from a crank chamber 22 to a low pressure chamber 38. The swing angle of a wabble plate 31 varies according to the pressure in the crank chamber 22. The pressure control valve 18 is constituted of a valve body, pressure corresponding member which is connected with the valve body and extends and contracts according to the suction pressure of a compressor, and a solenoid for adjusting the force for pressing the valve body. Further, a signal generating means 110 which includes a temperature setting device and at least one detector, judging means 120 for judging if the output signal satisfies the prescribed condition or not, and an operation control means 130 for controlling the electric conduction to a solenoid 47 according to the result of the judgement are provided. |
