CONSTITUTION:An original 16 is delivered in the A direction of an arrow by the difference in a friction force of a base 11 and a platen roller 15. During the shifting of the original, an original part on an original reading position line X-X is radiated from an LED line light source 12, the reflecting light is converged by an image forming optical type 13, image-formed to an image sensor 14, photoelectric conversion is executed and reading is executed. With respect to the conditions at that time, on a line image sensor 14 photodetecting part, so-called reading position line, the illumination peak of the LED line light source 12 is necessary. Then, by rotating an adjusting shaft 21 round a shaft line O, the optical axis of the LED line light source 12 is shifted and adjusted to the suitable position.
