PURPOSE:To efficiently perform a copying operation by discharging copying paper without performing reverse surface copying operation by pressing a specific key on a copying machine main body or starting the copying operation after leaving the copying paper on an intermediate tray for a constant time after the top surface copied paper on the intermediate tray temporarily. CONSTITUTION:When the specific key on the control panel 4 of the copying machine is pressed or when copying operation is started after the copying paper is left for the constant time, a 'forcible paper discharge mode' wherein the paper in the intermediate tray 19 is discharged to a paper discharge tray 15 without reverse surface copying operation is entered and the copying operation is carried out after the intermediate tray 19 is emptied. Further, an electronic counter which counts the constant time is provided and reset when respective keys on the control panel 4 are pressed. Consequently, the paper in the intermediate tray 19 is discharged to the paper discharge tray without having its reverse surface copied first when the specific key on the control panel 4 is pressed or when the copying operation is started after the paper is left as it is for the constant time. |
