The invention relates to an apparatus for recovering the waste heat generated from engines and boiler heaters. The apparatus includes a water preheating unit by use of the supercharging air energy for combustion, a hot water generating divider of the preheated water in the downstream of the waste gas, a low pressure steam generator in the gas stream, a steam separator from the steam-water of the generator, a high pressure steam generator by the waste gas closer to its source, and a recovering unit for the separated water from the separator. The produced steam is supplied for desired uses.
