PURPOSE:To make it possible to effectively utilize the high efficiency operation of the solar pond and nighttime surplus power by affording a function to store the nighttime surplus power in the form of thermal energy by heat loading. CONSTITUTION:A fluid from a heat storage layer is branched into an evaporator 5 and a heat exchanger 15 by a flow rate adjusting valve 13. A controller 18 is adjusted so that the temperature of the fluid entering the evaporator becomes constant at a temperature meter 11, and heat entering a heater 16 from a generator 7b is controlled. Thus, in a generating cycle utilizing the evaporator 5 it becomes possible to supply power of high efficiency and stability. Further, a small quantity of power to be fed from a generator 7b to the heater 16 will be enough by the incidence of solar light in daytime, and in nighttime the supply of a larger quantity of power is required. The increment of the power quantity in nighttime is stored in the form of heat energy in a heat storage layer 1. By use of the solar pond for the power generation and the heat exchange in the above described manner, it becomes possible to increase the power generating efficiency in the power generation using the solar pond and that of the ordinary power generating plant. |
