PURPOSE:To increase a reproducing signal amplitude of a data signal and an SN ratio by constituting the titled head so that it makes an angle of 45 deg. to a gap of a servo-reproducing element, and also, contains two data recording/ reproducing elements whose gaps make an angle of 90 deg. to each other. CONSTITUTION:Directions of gaps of two data recording/reproducing elements consisting of magnetic poles 6, 15 and 9, 16 make an angle of 90 deg. to each other by oblique etching of gaps 7, 8, and respective gaps are different by + or -45 deg. from a gap of a servo-reproducing element. Two data recording/reproducing thin film elements are placed on one side face of a non-magnetic base 2, therefore, placed on the same track, and by using these two elements alternately at every track (using the data recording/reproducing element consisting of the magnetic poles 9, 16, in the adjacent track, when the data recording/reproducing element consisting of the magnetic poles 6, 15 has been used), a data signal is recorded and reproduced. |
