A release device for adjusting the components, especially erection struts, of a positioning appliance of a launched munition which can be launched underwater is intended to operate using mechanical means and to release the components immediately when the positioning appliance strikes the ground. One first and one second unlocking piston (2, 3) are provided for this purpose. Both have pressure surfaces (4, 5) which are exposed in the direction of falling or sinking. The first unlocking piston (2) releases the second unlocking piston (3) in the event of a water impact. The second unlocking piston (3) is still held during sinking and enables the adjustment of the components when its pressure surface (5) strikes the ground. <IMAGE> |
