PURPOSE:To increase the response speed of a software interruption by activating a corresponding interruption processing routine according to a variable stored in a memory without intervening by a software. CONSTITUTION:A 1st interruption type number stored in an instruction register 2 is inputted to a 1st address generation means 3 to generate an interruption vector table address for a 1st interruption pointer table. A base address for a 2nd interruption pointer table, which is obtained by accessing the 1st interruption pointer table, 1 is stored in a base address register 4. A 2nd address generation mean 5 inputs both the number of a 2nd interruption type, which is obtained by accessing the memory at an address stored in the instruction register 2, and the base address for the 2nd interruption pointer table. The means 5 generates a 2nd interruption vector table address. An interruption entry pointer obtained by accessing the 2nd interruption pointer table at that address is set to a program counter 1, thereby executing an interruption processing routine. |
