PURPOSE:To display the weight by a digital value in gram, by detecting the deflection of a supporting rod corresponding to the weight of the amount of picked material by a semiconductor strain element, obtaining a digital signal from the detected result, and driving a liquid crystal display body. CONSTITUTION:A flexible supporting rod 3 of a spoon 2 is inserted into a tube shaped handle 1. To the end surface of the supporting rod 3, a semiconductor strain element 4 is attached, and an electric signal, which is in proportion to the weight of a material picked by a spoon 2, is obtained. An electronic circuit part 6 comprises an A/D converter circuit and a driver circuit and converts the analog signal obtained by the element 4 into a digital signal. Then a driving signal is obtained. A display window 8 is provided at the upper part of the handle 1, and a liquid crystal display body 9 is provided. The display body 9 receives the output signal from the driver circuit and displays the digital value. |
