In a liquid gas cylinder valve device, which may also be used for refilling, comprising a valve member 4 that is permanently loaded against a valve seat 3 and mounted on a pin 6, 10 connected to an actuating member 9, 7, said pin 6, 10 is provided with a protective member 11, 12 for preventing grains of sand or other impurities from reaching the valve. The protective member, as shown, comprises a sleeve 11 encircling the pin and an integral disc-shaped resilient collar 12 abutting a chamber wall 15. Collar 12 and wall 15 may act as a supplementary valve. In a modification, the protective member comprises a sleeve secured to the chamber wall 13 and a collar abutting the pin. <IMAGE> |
