In order to arrange a lever which is provided on a wheel carrier for guiding or steering the wheel, wheel carrier and lever are rigidly connected to one another by means of crown gears which are held in mutual engagement by means of an attachment screw. The lever can be secured inside the given pitch of the crown gears at any desired position on the wheel carrier so that the optimum basic track rod position can be represented for example for a geometrically correct configuration of the vehicle steering system for each steerable wheel on the wheel carrier.
