<p>A peptide functioning to accelerate activation of protein C with thrombin, which has a specified amino acid sequence containing at least 118 amino acids. This peptide can be effectively yielded in a large amount according to the technique of recombinant DNA. This peptide has an anticoagulant action, a thrombocyte agglutination preventing action, and a thrombolytic action unaccompanied by side effects of bleeding or anaphylaxis shock, thus being effectively usable for treating various diseases of circular organs and toxemia of pregnancy.</p> |
