PURPOSE:To realize stable coating without generating deformation and fluctuation of a thin film of a coating liquid by preliminarily coating a solvent of a coating liquid compsn. on a continuously traveling web and adjusting the solvent amt. on the web, then coating the thin film of the coating liquid thereon. CONSTITUTION:The solvent S1 of the above-mentioned coating liquid compsn. is precoated on the web 11 and after the solvent amt. on the web 11 is adjusted, the thin film 9 of the coating liquid is coated thereon at the time of coating the thin film 9. The adjustment of the solvent amt. on the web is executed by evaporating the solvent by the heat transfer, convection and IR radiation of a solvent amt. adjuster 25. As a result, the stable film of the free falling coating liquid is applied on the traveling web without generating the deformation and fluctuation of the thin coated film. |
