The adder circuit according to the subject of the invention has a main circuit which consists of only 14 or 15 individual adder circuits (12), and in the output area too only a one upwards shift circuit (3), which is combined with a straight-through circuit. This simplification is made possible in this adder circuit by the arrangement of circuits (20) and (50).
