<p>A hand-held sensor body (11) with a pronged probe (12) contains an ion meter-indicator (14) for chlorine concentration and ion for pool water acidity. The sensor (41) is D.C. powered and the probe has dual metallic rods extending from the hand-held probe and terminating in alloy sensor tips. The body of the sensor containing the indicator also detachably encases (21) the hand-held probe when the probe is not in use. The body of sensor includes an area of reduced width (34) for a battery chamber for the probe cable and to facilitate handling. The battery chamber has contacts for connections to the indicator. There are control knobs (24) mounted on the body for an adjustable potentiometer imposed in the electrical circuit.</p> |
