PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of polishing, etc., by forming titanium carbide film on a face of phosphor bronze by chemical gaseous phase growth method, etc., and pushing the film on a part on the peripheral face of cooling roll through spring force of the phosphor bronze plate. CONSTITUTION:The titanium carbide film 2 is formed on the one side of flat face part of phosphor bronze plate 3 by the chemical gaseous phase growth method or a sputtering method and in pushed to a part of the peripheral face of cooling roll 1 rotating at high speed by using the spring force of the phosphor bronze plate 3. Next, the film 2 is kept to push to the peripheral face of cooling roll 1 till the molten alloy is perfectly injected from a nozzle for molten metal. In this way, as the peripheral face of roll 1 is kept to the constant surface condition, the amorphous alloy having continuously uniform quality is obtd. and also as the remarkable wear and the detachment of film 2 are eliminated, the cost of polishing is reduced. |
