<p>A mobile fertilizer distributor apparatus (10) and method including the collection of gaseous products of combustion (29) from the internal engine (12) of a prime mover (11) and air (30) from the ambient atmosphere to form a hot gaseous mixture, compressing the hot gaseous mixture and continuously introducing the compressed hot gaseous mixture into the soil (15) over which the prime mover (11) is moving. The hot gaseous mixture, after it is compressed, may be mixed with a supplemental nutrient prior to introduction into the soil (15).</p> |
