Dental floss holding attachment for tooth brush drives. For practical and efficient cleaning of the gaps between the teeth (approximal spaces) dental floss or dental ribbon is clamped in a holder by means of clamping eyelets, and the holder is then attached to the drive member of a driven tooth brush instead of the brush attachment. The vibrations or oscillations generated by the drive member and transmitted to the holder permit the dental floss or dental ribbon to be introduced into the approximal space and the latter hence to be cleaned virtually without any force by the user.
