The invention deals with a cutting drum (1) which serves in particular as a parting tool for machines in underground mining but also for selective-cut heading machines used in tunnelling or the like. Cutting drums (1) of this type are fitted with nozzles which serve to spray liquid and are connected to a common rotary transmission leadthrough (17). The latter is located inside the cutting-drum body (7) and lies here concentrically with respect to the cutting-drum axis (3) in the area of the cutting-drum end remote from the machine body. Here, it encloses the non-rotatable cutting-drum spindle (3) or else a non-rotatable tube (15) which serves to supply the liquid and is accommodated in a central bore of the output shaft (6) of the cutting drum (1). The rotary transmission leadthrough (17) rotates with the cutting-drum body (7). Liquid is fed to it through a bore in the cutting-drum spindle (3) or through the tube (15) in the output shaft (6). It directs this liquid to the nozzles of the cutting-drum body (7) via radial lines (23). According to the proposal of the invention, the rotary transmission leadthrough (17) is to be connected to the cutting-drum body (7), or to the coupling part (9) connecting the output shaft (6) to the cutting-drum body (7), in such a way that it can perform angular movements. <IMAGE>
