PURPOSE:To obtain a simple, small-sized, and inexpensive constitution by providing a specific terminal equipment with an optical transmitter which transmits the optical signal having a specific wavelength which is not used by the other terminal equipments and interposing optical wavelength filter, through which only optical signals having wavelengths used by respective terminal equipments themselves pass, in optical transmission lines. CONSTITUTION:The wavelength of the optical signal used by specific terminal equipments 30' and 40' is made different from a wavelength lambda1 of the optical signal used by the other terminal equipments 10' and 20', and light receiving device 12-42 of respective terminal equipments 10'-40' are provided with optical wavelength filters 14-44 through which only wavelengths of optical signals transmitted from respective equipments pass. Optical data is independently transmitted between specific terminal equipments 30' and 40' without especially performing electric processings such as addition of address information to transmission data in transmission/reception processing circuits of terminal equipments and discrimination of address information, neither allowing the other terminal equipments 10' and 20' to notice data contents. Thus, the constitution and the control of transmission/reception processing circuits in respective terminal equipments 10'-40' are simplified. |
