PURPOSE:To make a strong swirl generable at time of low speed by having a first suction port uniformly adjoined to two suction valves and opened, in case of a device which has the first suction port generating a suction swirl and a second suction port feeding suction air straightly. CONSTITUTION:In case of the 4-valve engine that installed each two of suction and exhaust valves 4 and 5 in a combustion chamber 3 of an engine 1, its suction port is formed into three-port types, and it is constituted of one normally opened first suction port (primary port) and two second suction ports (secondary port) 8 and 8. And, they are set up parallelly with each other in holding the primary port 7 between these secondary parts 8 and 8. And, the primary port 7 is set up so as to be adjoined uniformly to these two suction valves 4 and 4 and opened in the tangential direction of a valve throat, making it function as a helical type suction port. And, a fuel injection valve 9 is set up on top of this primary port 7, and the nozzle is opened to the said port 7. |
