<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the flexible cable grip of light weight excellent in workability, by using a composite string-formed product. CONSTITUTION:So far as a hollow-pipe-formed braided cable grip 1 is concerned, the high strength and low ductility fiber is used to prepare the non-twisted thread of a multifilament, doubled thread consisting of first-twisted single yarn and a plurality of the yarns and the like, twisted wire to form the cord of braided string and the like or the string-formed product of a rope, and they are coated with thermoplastic resin and their peripheries are braided with synthetic fiber to be formed. Accordingly, the weight can be made extremely lighter than conventional one, and the product having flexibility is easily treated and is not dangerous in the working process because of electrical insulation. Besides, the product has expansibility, and comes in close contact with an inserted cable 3 sufficiently, and has a great frictional force, and the slip off of the cable 3 is hardly generated, and the cable and a pipe are not damaged, and rust is not generated.</p> |
