What is described is a stop device for door closers, in which a magnetic unit provided with a control unit can be displaced counter to the force of a prestressing spring by the working pressure of the closer and, in the resulting end position, can be blocked or released mechanically at a distance from an actuating unit in a manner controlled by the magnetic unit. Stationary contact pins and contact faces assigned to these on the magnetic unit are arranged in the housing. The contact pins and contact faces are in contact with one another in the end position of the magnetic unit, in order to supply the magnetic unit with current.
