PURPOSE:To prevent a mistake attributed to accuracy of an optical system and a direction of moving an object to be detected, by arranging a detector so that an electrode on the side of an infrared ray incident surface serves as common electrode while an electrode on the side opposite to the infrared incident surface as split electrode. CONSTITUTION:A first element 1a and a second element 1b are provided on a common base 3 and an electrode on the side of an infrared incident surface made as common electrode Q. On the other hand, an electrode R on the side opposite to the electrode Q is divided to form split electrodes R1 and R2. As a result, with a heat conduction of the electrode Q, thermal interference is enhanced. This allows the generation of outputs from all of the detectors 1a and 1b even when infrared rays are incident into any one of the detectors having the electrode Q in common and an output is obtained from an AND circuit to sound an alarm. |
