PURPOSE:To easily install an offshore working platform by a method in which the working platform is pivotally attached to placing positions for left- and right- handed halves, and both the halves are delivered on the sea in a state of being laid down, sunk vertically, and landed and fixed to the seabed. CONSTITUTION:The lower left-side edge of a working platform 4 is pivotally attached to the upper edge of a placing position 2a for a left-handed half 2, and the right-side edge is also pivotally attached to the upper edge of a placing position 3a for the right-handed half 3. The working platform 4 is kept horizontal, and both the left- and right-handed halves 2 and 3 are delivered in a state of being laid down on the sea to an installation sea area. The sea water ballast is charged into ballast tanks 5 and 6, both the halves 2 and 3 are made vertical by turning the bottom-landing portions 2a and 3b downwards, and the bottom-landing portions 2b and 3b are landed to the seabed. Connectors 12 and 13 on the working platform 4 are brought down and their lower ends are connected to a seabed production equipment 11. |
