LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY ELEMENT

摘要

PURPOSE:To make a liquid crystal display element compact by arranging a liquid crystal display element driving IC on a seal material area for fixing a pair of bases. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal display element driving IC 3 is arranged on the seal material forming area of a seal material 4 for fixing the bases 1, 2 holding a liquid crystal layer between them. The seal material 4 acts as also a bonding material. Since a wiring between the IC 3 and an electrode in the liquid crystal display element is shortened, the reliability of the element can be improved and the element can be made compact.
