PURPOSE:To produce an austenitic stainless steel plate for die having hard quality and good flatness without developing the warping at the time of cutting work by completing the hot-working at the specific temp. and next straightening after executing the specific heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:At the time of producing the stainless steel plate for die by the hot-working, the finish temp. of hot-working for austenitic stainless steel is made to 900-600 deg.C to harden the above steel. Next, before straightening, the steel plate is held and heat-treated for >=15min in the temp. range of 350-550 deg.C. In this way, the flatness of the plate is improved, and further the development of warping at the time of cutting work is remarkably reduced, and the man hour for cutting is reduce and the die having high quality is obtd. at low cost low cost. And, the coefficient of thermal expansion for the above stainless steel similar to that of glass epoxy resin, etc., and the forming work under high accuracy is enabled. |
