PURPOSE:To make compact a processing device and to form an image having an excellent white ground characteristic by advancing a photographic sensitive material having a silver halide emulsion layer into a bleach fixing bath at a specific speed and specifying the temp. of a color forming developing soln. CONSTITUTION:A color forming developing bath 3, a bleach fixing bath 4 and a stabilizing bath 5 are provided in a processing device 1. The photographic sensitive material F is carried from a supplying part 2 into the color forming developing soln. 8 by which said material is developed. The material F is then immersed into a bleach-fix bath 9 and is thereby bleach fixed. The material F is stabilized with a stabilizing soln. 10 and is fed to a drying part 6. The linear speed at which the material F advances into the bath 4 is set at >=10mm/ sec and the temp. of the developing soln. 8 is set at >=35 deg.C. The linear speed at which the photographic sensitive material advances into the bleach fixing bath and the temp. of the color forming developing soln. are specified in the above-mentioned manner, the sharp image is obtd. and the size of the processing rack is reduced. |
