A discharging arrangement for bulk material comprises a variable-length, vertical downcomer pipe 1, through which bulk material will be brought down to be discharged from the lower end of the pipe, while maintaining a certain material level in the pipe's lower section; and machinery 7 for hoisting of the lower end of the pipe gradually as the level of the charged material rises. The lower end 5 of the downcomer 1 is fitted with a mechanical appliance 10 to impart, at least to the material in the pipe's lower end, a horizontal movement with varying radial component. The mechanical appliance 10 includes one or more vibrators mounted on the outside of the pipe, and/or the wings placed at the lower end of pipe 1, these wings being inclined and able to revolve about the pipe' axis. <IMAGE> |
