This invention is concerned with the sound break device when image signal of television is not applied. The oscillation signal of an oscillator (1) which is applied to the horizontal driver circuit (3) through 1/2 branch circuit (2) is applied to 1/525 branch circuit (4) . After the synchronized output is integrated and rectified in circuit (7), it is applied to 1/525 branch circuit through a window circuit (8). The 1/525 branch circuit (4) is composed of a commonly used T-flip flop circuit and from the circuit(7) the vertical synchronized signal is applied to the circuit (4) so as to be synchronized with vertical signal.
