PURPOSE: To avoid an erroneous measurement or adjustment and enable to keep the desired concentration automatically, by installing a scanning device for the purpose of identification in a detecting part installed between an adjusting device and an anesthetic device, and connecting the scanning device with a measuring/monitoring device in the signal transmitting area. CONSTITUTION: Detecting parts A, B, C of an anesthetic agent evaporator 1 provided with an adjusting device 2 and an anesthetic supplying device 3 are installed facing to reflected light detecting part array A', B', C' which are distinguishing parts. The light signals transmitted from the reflected light array A', B', C' enter the corresponding reflective mark A, B, C and are reflected, then transferred to a measuring/monitoring device 9. To adjust the anesthetic agent or to detect the preset concentration, another detecting part which has a shape of a strip 11 arranged in treble, is installed to an adjusting device constituted as a handwheel 2. A code of the strip 11 is irradiated by a light array 13, and is supplied to the measuring/monitoring device 9 via a signal conductor 81. |
