PURPOSE:To obtain a reinforced rubber particle with a relatively low rubber content having extremely high impact strength and high heat stability by filling and enclosing a number of resin particles in the rubber particle in such a way that resin particles are independent of each other and in a highly dense condition. CONSTITUTION:A rubber particle containing fine resin particles enclosed therein is obtd. by filling a number of resin particles [those resins having a glass transition temp. of 30 deg.C or higher are pref. and a polymer of an arom. vinyl monomer such as styrene, a polymer of a vinyl cyanide such as (meth)acrylonitrile are pref.] in the rubber particle in such a way that the resin particles are independent of each other, the wt. ration of the rubber to the resin is 8:2-2:8 and the ratio of the amt. of the extracted resin to the resin content is 0.3 or smaller when it is extracted by using a solvent which a good solvent for this resin component and a poor solvent for the rubber. According to this constitution, as the fine resin particles independent of each other are filled and enclosed with an extremely high density in the rubber particle, a reinforced rubber particle with a relatively low rubber content having extremely high impact strength and high heat stability can be obtd. |
