Fungicidally active novel hydroxyethylazolyl-oxime derivatives of the formula < IMG > in which Ar is optionally substituted aryl, Rl is hydrogen or alkyl, R2 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, optionally substituted aralkyl or optionally substituted cycloalkylalkyl, and X is a nitrogen atom or the CH group, and addition products thereof with acids and metal salts.
