A resistance to ionization-radioactive ray is rendered by addn. of heat stabilizing agent contg. org. Sn or Sb, mercaptane and hydroquinone according to formula RCH(SH)-(CH2)n-COOR', R(CH2)m- COOR"SH or HS-(CH2)x-Z-(CH2)y-Z-(CH2)x-SH to a polymer contg. halogen in mol.. In the formulas, R=H or C1-20 alkyl, R'=C1-18 alkyl or alkenyl, R"=C1-18 alkylene or alkenylene, m and n=0-6, Z=- COO-, [C is bonded with C of (CH2)x or (CH2)y ; X=1-9; y=1-18; 2x+y>=4; (CH2)x and (CH2)y are accompanied with subst. or not.
