PURPOSE:To reduce the temperature difference between the parts of heat- exchange mediums passing through a heater core, by providing a damper for selectively shutting off the steam of heat-exchange medium passing through an inlet port tube in the vicinity of a tank for fluid to be heat-exchanged. CONSTITUTION:Hot water is led into an inlet tank 11 from an inlet pipe 20 through a water valve 4. Then, the hot water is led through an inlet tube 20 into an intermediate tank 22, and thereafter, the hot water is led through outlet tubes 21 into an outlet tank part 12 in the direction reverse to the direction of the stream of the hot water in the inlet tube 20 before it is discharged from an outlet pipe 15. In this stage, a damper 30 is disposed in a heater core 1 in the part of a ventilating air passage adjacent to a hot water tank 10. Further the dimensions of the damper are set to such that it has a length equal to the transverse length of the ventilating air passage and a predetermined width, and the damper 30 may swing between a position A where it is orthogonal to the stream of air and a position B where it is parallel with the latter. With this arrangement, it is possible to regulate the stream of air passing through the tube part 20a. |
