PURPOSE:To prevent any lost motion at the time of rotation of a mirror device from occurring, by seating a cam plate side end, being interposingly installed between a lower case to be supported on a strut at the vehicle side and a cam plate to be locked to an upper part of the strut, to the cam plate via a ball. CONSTITUTION:A strut 23 is solidly installed in a base 22 at the lower part of a vehicle side member 21, and a lower case 24 and an upper case 25 are supported on this strut 23. A frame 26 inclusive of a mirror actuator unit 27 is solidly formed in the upper case 25, and a mirror body 28 is locked this frame 26. In addition, an electric motor 29, a speed reducing mechanism consisting of a planetary gear mechanism and so one are housed in both these cases 24 and 25, and a final gear 34 is engaged with a driving gear 35. A cam plate 37 is locked to an upper part of the strut 23 where this driving gear 35 is locked, while the cam plate 37 is energized upward by a spring 36 via a ball 38. And, at the time of these cases 24 and 25 being rotated, the ball 38 alone is made free of vertical movements to the cal plate 37. |
