PURPOSE:To incline the leaf spring mount part of a support in a degree sufficient to open a leaf spring even when one piezoelectric actuator is used, by providing a constriction to the support. CONSTITUTION:This printing head has a constriction 23. The constriction 23 is formed by providing a groove 13a of the bottom surface 13c of a support 11. When voltage is applied to a piezoelectric actuator 21, the upper surface 13b of the leaf spring mount of the support 11 is pressed to compress the bottom surface 13c and the compression force generated is absorbed by the groove 13a. By this mechanism, the mount surface 20 of the leaf spring 15 of the support 11 inclines and the torsional quantity of the leaf spring 15 begins to increase. The elastic force of the leaf spring 15 exceeds the attraction force of a permanent magnet 12 at last and one end part 15b of the leaf spring 15 is released from a yoke attraction surface 11b and a printing hammer pin 16 performs printing. |
