SUPPLYING APPARATUS OF MATERIALS TO PRESS

Material is fed to a high-speed press by an arrangement in which the carry-out arm for pressed material is in a higher plane than that in which the carry in arm for new material is turned. The arms move pivotally in a horizontal direction and linearly in a vertical direction. The fulcrum for pivoting is mounted on a rear surface of the press bolster. The dead point of the carry-in arm is at the end of in-feeding and that for the carry-out arm is at the start of out- feeding. Movements of the arms are timed so that the materials fed in and taken out are overlapped vertically in a position above a lower press die.
