PURPOSE:To switch an off-hook state to an on-hook state at the side of a mobile equipment by detecting a howler signal at the side of a master equipment and transmitting this detection output to the mobile equipment from the master equipment via a radio line. CONSTITUTION:When a howler signal is received from a converter, a call signal detecting circuit 4 regards the howler signals as a call signal to produce the DC voltage and sends this call signal to a control circuit 5. Thus the circuit 5 decides that it received the howler signal since it is impossible to receive an incoming call in an off-hook state. Then a transmission low frequency control switch 7 is turned off and simultaneously a signal showing the reception of the howler signal is transmitted from a transmitter 12. This signal is received by a receiver 15 of the mobile equipment 3 and the receiver 15 transmits this signal to a control circuit 24. Thus the circuit 24 decides reception of the howler signal and turns off a hook switch 9 to secure an on-hook state.
