<p>The breaker according to the invention comprises a casing provided with an electromagnet whose armature is linked with a contact-holder equipped, for each pole, with a movable contact bridge tensioned by a spring. The casing and the contact holder have, between two neighbouring cutout chambers, a double partition consisting of a fixed partition F and a movable partition M of the contact holder. These two partitions are exposed to the direct effects of arcing on only one of their faces. The partitions associated with the opposing contacts 31, 32 of a same contact bridge P are offset so that each fixed partition F is situated in the extension of the opposing movable partition M. The invention makes it possible to obtain good quality insulation of cutout chambers and in particular satisfactory dielectric strength of the insulation partitions, and does so for a small size of the breaker. <IMAGE></p> |
