PURPOSE:To enhance abrasion resistance and hardness by using a specified polyethylene wax as the reinforcing agent of polyvinylcarbazole. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic organic photosensitive body is composed essentially of polyvinylcarbazole containing as its reinforcing agent the polyethylene wax having a penetration of <=1.5 and a density of >=0.93, preferably, in an amount of 0.5-20wt% of the polyvinylcarbazole, and it is preferred to be dispersed in an average particle diameter of <=0.5mum after dispersion, thus permitting the obtained organic photosensitive body to be superior in abrasion resistance and surface hardness. |
