PURPOSE:To make the assembly of a stack easy and to obtain a high output cell by uniting an electrolyte layer with an oxidizing agent electrode. CONSTITUTION:A fuel cell stack Y is formed by plurally stacking a coupling body 13 comprising an electrolyte plate 11 and an oxidizing agent electrode 12 through a coupling body 14 and a coupling body 15. The oxidizing agent electrode 12 is obtained in such a way that a nickel oxide particle is converted into lithium nickel oxide, and its secondary particle is mixed with a polyethylene binder, then the mixture is formed in a sheet. The sheet-like oxidizing agent electrode 12 is pressed against the upper surface of the sheet-like electrolyte plate 11 to form the coupling body 13. The coupling body 14 is formed in such a way that a porous fuel electrode 17 is placed on the upper surface of a highly porous metal plate 16 for guiding fuel, and the B, B' sides of the stack are covered with gas shielding plates 18, then they are united. The coupling body 15 is obtained by stacking a separator plate 19, a corrugated plate 20, and a perforated current collecting plate 21. |
