PURPOSE:To prolong durability and removal performance for foreign matter by combining an upper heat roller with a lower press roller and pressing an elastic blade made of silicone rubber and felt impregnated with silicone oil against the upper heat roller. CONSTITUTION:A fixing device 28 is constituted by combining the upper heat roller 281 with the lower press roller 281 and the elastic blade 285 made of silicone rubber and the felt 287 impregnated with silicone oil are pressed against the upper heat roller 281. The elastic blade 285 and felt 287 are supported by a common support member 286 and pressed against the heat roller 281 to function to remove foreign matter. A copying form sent from a transfer device passes through a conveyance path 24 and a paper guide 283 and is fixed by passing through between the heat roller 281 against which the elastic blade 285 made of the silicone rubber and the felt 287 impregnated with the silicone oil is pressed and the press roller 282, and then conveyed by a paper discharge roller 284. Consequently, the removal performance for sticking foreign matter and the durability of the elastic blade and heat rollers are improved. |
