PURPOSE:To reduce information input mistakes and to prevent secret information from being leaked by displaying input information on a display part during a key operating period or a prescribed time and erasing the display of the input information when a key is opened or the prescribed time lapses. CONSTITUTION:An user inputs self identification information one by one character from a keyboard 14 according to a message. When the first character of the identification information of the user is '1', a key '1' is depressed. The display of this '1' is displayed on a display device 13. An information processing/switching device 12 has a function for detecting the pressed state and the released state of all keys on the keyboard 14 and also has a function for continuing to display the character corresponding to the key on the display device 13 while the key is depressed. When the user separates a finger from the key '1', the information processing/switching device 12 detects it, erases the display of '1' on the display device 13 and displays a symbol in place thereof. |
