<p>PURPOSE:To reduce load on a processor by making the data process of a frame memory unnecessary, by constituting a device in such a way that desired displaying can be obtained by checking relation between the value of a register on which the display position of a cursor is set, and a display timing one by one, and synthesizing and outputting display data stored in the frame memory. CONSTITUTION:A graphics bit image on the frame memory 12, a graphics cursor bit image on graphics cursor memories 13 and 14, and a graphics cursor display position on a register incorporating a video synthesizing circuit 15, and written respectively through a system bus 101. The video synthesizing circuit 15 outputs an address suitable for a display timing to each of the memories 12, 13, and 14. An image data designated by the address is inputted to the video synthesizing circuit 15, and those image data are synthesized, and outputted to a display 16 as video in formation.</p> |
