A process for packaging products in containers which are closed except for a filling valve or filling opening, of the tightening type, and which are provided with a radio- frequency-sealable polymer, at least at the valve or opening, so that it is possible to seal the valve or opening by using radiofrequency waves. Preferably, use is made of polymers which are able to seal by using microwave energy, including, preferably, ethylene polymers containing carbon monoxide.
