PURPOSE:To exactly execute a position adjustment without using an adjusting tool, by providing an adjusting groove on the plate surface of a photodetector substrate, attaching the substrate to an optical pickup, and thereafter, bringing the substrate to plastic deformation through the adjusting groove. CONSTITUTION:A photodetector is attached to a photodetector fitting part 7 of a photodetector substrate 1, and the substrate 1 is screwed to an optical pickup. Subsequently, when a cam part of an adjusting cam is inserted into the first adjusting groove 3a' and rotated, connected parts 4, 4 are brought to plastic deformation and the fitting part 7 is moved in the X plus direction. In the same way, the cam is inserted into an adjusting groove 3b' and the fitting part 7 is moved in the X minus direction. Also, the cam is inserted into the second adjusting grooves 5a', 5b' and the fitting part is moved in the Y direction. In this way, the position is adjusted only by inserting the cam into the adjusting groove and rotating it. In this way, the position adjustment of the photodetector can be executed exactly without using an adjusting jig. |
