The present invention relates to a protective plug for pipes of various dimensions. The plug has annular walls 1, 2, 3 lying one inside another. When a plug is fixed in a weak pipe it projects from the pipe as an annular flange and prevents the pipe being fitted right up to a wall. Weak pipes can also be fitted up against a wall by using a protective plug, the annular walls 1, 2, 3 of which are parallel with one another and eccentric. <IMAGE>
