PURPOSE:To settle bean jam particles of slurry for producing bean jam bleached with water in a short time and to obtain concentrated slurry by equipping a settling plate in gap between the top of a tank and an inner cylinder and setting a feed pipe having an umbrella type guide material at the bottom in the inner cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A feed pipe 3 is concentrically set in an inner cylinder 2 while lowering an umbrella type guide material 6 at the bottom, the inner column 2 is concentrically equipped at the top of a tank 1 and settling plates 8 at upper and lower plural steps, radiately fixing slant plates 8b to a supporting cylinder 8a, are laid between the inner cylinder 2 and the tank 1 in such a way that inclinations of the slant plates of the adjoining settling plates are mutually different and the settling plates are furnished at intervals. An overflowing drain pipe 11 is connected to the top of the tank and concentrated slurry is taken out from a delivery hole 1d. |
