The invention relates to a support for name cards, descriptive cards and the like, including a flat baseplate and supports for a name or descriptive card as well as an elastic retaining tongue on the rear side. The baseplate 12 of the support includes, along its vertical axis of symmetry and a little below the upper edge 3, an oblong hole 4 parallel to the edge and allowing a loop-shaped fastening attachment to pass through and, below this hole, an elastic fastening tongue 7 folded in stages towards the rear side of the baseplate 2; the elastic tongue 7 is surrounded by a hollow 6 and it is folded at its end 7b slightly into a V-shape. <IMAGE>
